Both men at one time considered to be the face of the WFWF in the 1st run, are about to face off in MCW-style 'Mayhem Rules'...ready for a final run in the tank, Pain & Falco are in the best shape they can be in. Will the former WFWF Champion/Internet Champion finally get revenge for the loss Falco handed him years ago, or can the man they call the Golden Gun/Puppet Master, still put Pain in his place???

Chapter 2.2: Hardcore rivalry renewed.
Many look back fondly of their past. Rights, wrongs, historical purposes, life lessons to live by. Sometimes, things happen for reasons we can’t foresee. Paths cross time and time again, a lot of times, producing the same results. A certain individual in the newly-reborn WFWF, seems to think that by crossing the path of Pete Falco, his luck might change 21 years after an initial encounter. That individual is Pain.
We see the ‘Golden Gun’ walking through the shoddy-looking building that was the MCW Arena. Taking a stroll, he sees the burst pipes, the musky-smelling air, tattered ring apron, seats all rusted in the venue. Picking up a chair, he slams it into a steel step, just hitting it repeatedly, before staring into the camera, the only way Pete knows how.
Pete Falco: You can’t change time, can’t erase history. What happens, happens. It’s all how you move forward with it. The way I view October, 2000, it was just the beginning. A whole year of dominance from yours truly. WFWF Hardcore Champion, MCW Hardcore Champion, PCW North American, Heavyweight, Intercontinental, Hardcore Championship...such good times for me. And to think, my initial stroll of luck took place as soon as I defeated one man, a behemoth many considered to be THE WFWF giant, Pain. From that moment on, it was ball rolling. Snowball effect, growing into epic proportions. My career, finally peaking with the MCW Universal Title 3 years later. Afterwards? Many saw me as a man who let his ego take a turn. Didn’t reach heights that high ever again. TWN? Sure, I was a Hardcore Champion, took that belt to heart. Never reached the top though due to politics, and a jackass named Hunter McKay. MCW’s return? Never got too far. NWR? Nothing. Pain, on the other hand...got MCW Title #2, 1st MCW TV Champion, the man found rebirth.
NOW, 21 years later, you want to challenge me to Mayhem rules? October 2000 fresh in your mind as clear as ever. Pain, I accept the challenge...but I hope that you’re ready to accept your fate once again in this company.
The story will remain the same May 29th. Again, Falco will show why he still can beat you on any day of the week. There is a reason I’m the ‘Golden Gun’ still after all these years. I’m the man everyone wants to hire to take down their secret weapons, giving them a dose of hardcore lethal injections. Don’t forget who else I am, as well...as many consider me the master manipulator, the man pulling the strings, the Puppet Master. That side is a side many saw in TWN, and it was brutal, fought many wars. Don’t believe me? Ask Sunny, ask Dymond, Fang, Maxwell Bryant, Diablo...I can be a tough son of a bitch at the perfect time. As for my allegiance with the Uprising? We’re going to make our mark on the new WFWF, starting at Up From The Ashes, and we’re gonna begin with people like you!

Scene: We’re located at a gym, watching Pain get back into his usual muscle-bound shape. The workout is almost done, he’s barely broken a sweat, and he stops to speak his mind on the upcoming show.
Pain: When word got out that WFWF was reopening its doors after 19 years, the memories came back. For starters, defeating Orange Bullet for the belt with Silverado hanging in a cage! My, that was something else. The Internet Title, 2 reigns as WFWF Champion, it was something else. My, those were interesting times!
But then, I remembered when the Millennium turned around...a man came into the WFWF. Pete Falco, memory is kind of fuzzy now, but you were there for all of what, 2 months? 3 months? But you made quite the impact. You took down several names in that time to become WFWF Hardcore Champion. One of those names was yours truly. Nobody saw it coming. I was on the cusp of a 4-way match for the WFWF Title, you were looking to make a name for yourself. You stuck it to me, & I’ll be the first to admit it, I haven’t been the same since. I went to MCW, became Champion...then fell from grace for the longest time. Deliverance. Damnation, all different aliases, but the same result...a step backward.
Truth be told, the last time I felt alive? 2012...I managed to put a boot to the ass of a man, Tieren Hawkins, former MCW Champion. Shocked everyone around me, won the Title, held on to it for 2 months before Serikaz showed his worth and knocked me down. Ended up going to war with Bludd after he changed his name and attitude as well. All was said and done, I left, walked away, nothing more to prove. Now, I have everything to prove. I MUST beat you, Falco. It’s been far too long. I’ve beaten everyone I can, proven everything I can, but still haven’t notched that win against you. Mayhem rules, MCW-style, for this match. You might be a Hardcore legend, but you aren’t going to withstand a Pain Killer or two from me. And by the end of the match, you know THAT’S GONNA HURT!!!
Scene: Fade to black.
