These are the Official Rules and Regulations of the WFWF. There aren't many of them, but try to follow them; the WFWF has almost gone under once before because of people breaking rules. Our staff is not bent on restriction and orderliness, we are a different kind of fed, so chances are you will not be fired if you break a rule once or twice.
1.WFWF is open to any & all wrestlers, created, no real life names (but feel free to use RL promotions as basis for a character's background if you must). I have no limit as to how many characters you can use, HOWEVER, please choose 1-2 as your major ones. If you have a stable of 4, i'm cool with it...but for that...main focus on 1 tag team, 1-2 singles stars, & then the other can be used sparingly. Valets and managers do not count as wrestlers, and you can have as many of those as you want, as long as they don't fight on a regular basis. In specialty matches, your manager or valet can compete, but it is an oddity.
2.Please inform anybody on the staff, via e-mail or with a post on the OOC board, if you are going to be idle for an extended period of time. You could be on vacation, on a short trip, or possibly just not able to access the computer at the time. In case of a computer crash, please find SOME way to give a staff member the word that you won't be around for a while, so your character isn't deleted wrongfully, or so you aren't stripped of any accolades you might have, including titles. The worst thing that can happen, is when you're away for quite some time, and when you get back, your wrestler is a jobber. Don't let this happen, and tell us when you are going to be away for longer than 3 days.
3.Do not use ANY other wrestlers or their valets in your posts, without their permission, or you will most likely be banned from the fed. If you AGREE with the other person on using them in the post, fine. Please try to avoid making this mistake, and ask before you do certain things. Parodies, such as midgets, fat men, and other insulting mockeries are OK, as long as it's not the actual person portrayed in the post.
4.You have to roleplay when the time comes for a card & you have a character in the lineup, or else your char will be purged. This is if you haven't notified us of your absence (check out Rule #2), of course. I am going to try to enforce this rule, so, if you "accidentally" forget to RP, you'll have to reapply. Unfortunately, a few folks might be joining several times. Staff members are excluded from this rule. And YES, there is a deadline for RPs too.
5.On the regular roleplay board, stay In Character (IC) the entire time. Which basically means that you are pretending to be a wrestler. Also, do not comment on real life here. Go to the OOC board to post any OOC comments that you might have, including information on your absences, resignation letters, or tidbits that wouldn't be mentioned on the IC board, such as complaints. Again, note the "such as complaints" part, this is another rule that will be strictly enforced!
6.All complaints are welcome through e-mail or on the OOC board, but try not to whine about your losses too badly. Your insults are considered a novelty by our staff, and we laugh at them, and then dismiss them (rotten, isn't it?). If we think it's fair, and you don't, tough luck. We decide matches as FAIR as possible, and if you happen to dislike it, it's a pity. The staff is rather ruthless with matters like that, and if you whine about things, you are probably going to get told off. BUT, complaints do not decrease your chances of winning in any way, because we are not biased, and even if the writer HATES you, if you are a good roleplayer, you're going to get what you deserve.
7. Be original! Don't try to make up a character whose name, moves, and interviews are extremely similar to a wrestler currently in the WWE, AEW, Impact, or anywhere else. That means no or using catch phrases. An occasional mocking of some WWE Superstars may be permitted, but it cannot be a staple of your character. We are originals here, let's try to stay original!
8. .....there is no rule #8..................
9.Please do not use any religious, racial, or ethnic comments in your RPs. This rule goes hand-in-hand with rule #5, so just watch what you type!
10.Please do not post huge banners on the roleplay board, and if you HAVE to put up a picture, there are some restrictions. The pic cannot be overly large, and it needs to be at the bottom of your post, 5 spaces down from the main text. This cleans up the design, and makes it look nice. It also HAS to be in the center of the page, and there can only be one pic per post. If you violate this rule 3 times, you will be suspended. You can post as many pics as you please on the OOC board, because tidiness is not an issue there.
11.If you are a member of another federation, or a president, and you want to advertise on our site, PLEASE go to the OOC board. There's not very much of a punishment we can give you (other than spamming your boards), but we can put up a password protected RP board, so nobody will be able to advertise again. Be courteous, and try to post your banners on the OOC board if you must post them at all.
12. We cannot stress this rule enough..... HAVE FUN!!!!! This fed was made so that people can have a little fun in a booked Fantasy Federation, and the whole basis behind it was to have some fun making up a character then putting them in the WFWF and seeing how they do. Your "fun having" is compromised by frequent complaining, or getting fresh with the management, or constantly citing your "screwings". In due time, all of our good roleplayers get a reward for their efforts, but sometimes you have to wait for the right opportunity and build up to attaining your goals.... and while you do that.... HAVE FUN, it will make everyone more happy!
13.Always adhere to Rule #8. Failure to do so will result in fatal beatings.
